Loki Laufeyson is the former secondary antagonist of the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He is the god of mischief and the son of the frost giant Laufey who was adopted by the Asgardian god Odin as one of his kin. Loki made attempts on taking over Asgard in the first Thor movie, then became a temporary minion to Thanos and attempted to conquer the Earth and retrieve the Tessaract (which contains the Space Stone) for Thanos.
He was the main antagonist of Thor and The Avengers until later on in the sage he became more of a anti-hero, being the tritagonist of Thor: The Dark World and the deuteragonist of Thor: Ragnarok, and a minor yet pivotal character of Avengers: Infinity War.
He was played by Tom Hiddleston who also played Lord Nooth in Early Man and Captain James Hook from The Pirate Fairy.
What Made Him Redeemed?
- Showed remorse for his actions he had done at the first Avenger's movie and Thor movie
- His love for his family, he even went so far as to help Thor defeat his sister Hela and save the people of Asgard. Even willing to sacrifice his life in attempt to kill Thanos and save his adoptive brother Thor.
